What is the difference between Favola B&B and La Casa di Kro?
Favola B&B is a bed and breakfast with 2 rooms, each with a private bathroom, at Via Mascarella 84 — ideal for couples and solo travellers. La Casa di Kro is an entire 130 m² apartment at Via Strazzacappe 6 with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and terrace, for families and groups of up to 6.
Are the properties in Bologna city centre?
Yes, both are in the historic centre, inside the ring road. La Casa di Kro is 800 m from the Central Station and about 900 m from Piazza Maggiore; Favola is 1.1 km from the station, near the university district and Porta Mascarella.
How far are they from Bologna Centrale station?
About 10 minutes on foot (800 m) to La Casa di Kro and about 14 minutes (1.1 km) to Favola B&B.
Do Favola's rooms have a private bathroom?
Yes. Each of the two rooms at Favola B&B has its own private bathroom with shower, bidet and toiletries.
How many people can stay at La Casa di Kro?
Up to 6: two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, plus two bathrooms.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
At both properties check-in is 15:00–20:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Please always tell us your arrival time in advance.
Is breakfast included?
Favola B&B serves an Italian breakfast of coffee and a croissant for €6 per person. La Casa di Kro is an apartment with a full kitchen, where you can make breakfast and enjoy it on the terrace.
Can I arrive by car? Where can I park?
Both properties are inside the historic centre's limited traffic zone (ZTL): do not drive in without authorisation. For La Casa di Kro there is OK Garage at Via Avesella 1, right below the apartment; for Favola we recommend the Piazza VIII Agosto car park. ZTL access cannot be arranged through the property. Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed at either property.
Is smoking allowed?
No. At La Casa di Kro smoking is only allowed on the terrace.
Are children welcome?
Yes. At La Casa di Kro children and babies are welcome. A free cot is available. At Favola children of all ages are welcome and only pay if they occupy a bed; there are no cots, but a free extra bed can be added in the Green Room.
Are you convenient for BolognaFiere trade fairs?
Yes. From Favola B&B you can walk to the Costituzione entrance of BolognaFiere in about 22 minutes. From La Casa di Kro, walk to the station (10 minutes) and take bus 35 or 38.
Do you issue invoices or receipts?
Both properties issue a tax receipt (ricevuta fiscale), not an invoice.
